Greetings, survivors! Lately, I’ve been craving a roleplay that blends rich storytelling, RPG mechanics, branching choices, and multiple endings. something immersive that isn’t afraid to explore darker themes\~
If that sounds like your kind of experience, you’re in the right place!

The premise:

It’s the year 2050. A devastating pandemic of unknown origin has swept across the globe. The infection is gruesome, skin decays, nerves burn, and the unbearable pain drives its victims into madness. What remains is something no longer human: feral, relentless, and driven only by the urge to feed and spread the disease through bites… a full-scale zombie outbreak. You are a researcher who once lived a quiet life with your husband and son. When the world fell apart, you turned to the only thing you could control, your work. Searching for a cure became your purpose.

Your investigation eventually led you to a mystery: an isolated landmass deep in the ocean, known only as Moonlight Island. Against all odds, its inhabitants remain untouched by the infection. Some claim it’s because of its distance, but that doesn’t explain everything. The virus is airborne. No place should be safe. Rumors about the island are… unsettling. Stories of brutality. Of people who reject outsiders. Of expeditions that never returned. And yet, with nothing left to lose, you go. But what you find is not what you expected. The people are kind. Welcoming. They offer you shelter, food, clothing, comfort. They invite you to learn their customs, their way of life. Slowly, the line between “mission” and “belonging” begins to blur.

So now the question becomes:
Will you complete your research and save humanity? Or will you abandon that burden… and embrace a new life among them, as the goddess they were promised would come\~…

Additional info:
The RPG/stat system is still a work in progress, but I’d be happy to walk you through it once we start planning. I’m very open to collaboration, feel free to suggest changes, add twists, or reshape the story.
If this plot isn’t your style, I’m also open to GMing other ideas. Kinks and limits will be discussed later on. You can come with your own refs, or else we’ll be content with the one in this post.

Requirements:
Please put effort into your opening message, no one-liners. I’m looking for something engaging, character-driven, and long-term.

If this caught your interest, don’t hesitate to reach out!

[Gm4ApF] you visited an island with your husband for research… But the villagers made you their goddess?!
