AMC Hoffman IMAX

so is the AMC Hoffman imax theater breaking like a regular thing or am I just really unlucky? halfway to the theater I see an email that says my ticket has been refunded since the theater cancelled the show. like 3 sold out (or nearly sold out) showings today and apparently some yesterday just gone.

does this just happen at AMC Hoffman sometimes or is it because of the addresses odyssey and the rise in demand right now? or do the cinema gods just hate me?
