63f looking for friends

Hey there, I was inspired by someone else who posted looking for friendship in his forties. I'm in the same boat but older, moved here about 5 years ago and have been pretty busy with work and family life. I have a granddaughter who is a big part of my life. She is special needs and her parents also needs support. I know a lot of you out there are in the same boat. I normally like to be very active, hiking live music etc.but some of my obligations have kept me from these activities. I would love to have someone pull me out of this. I try to be healthy. I'm a vegetarian and I also practice yoga and walk everyday. I enjoy intellectual pursuits like reading and history. I'm looking for folks who are similar. I lean left and I'm not really interested in friendship with people who approve of the current administration. Since my youth in the '80s I've always considered myself punk and I still do even though I don't look it. To me, the definition of punk is that you do not conform to what society expects and that summarizes my life. I've never been someone who fits in. If you're interested, hit me up!
