Missed the Amazon sale - is it worth waiting? (Kindle Basic)

Hey guys!

I actually have a Kindle Paperwhite but really think having a smaller device for when I commute to work will really help on the train. I think I’d continue to use the Paperwhite when on holiday because of its waterproofing.

Maybe this is a crystal ball question - but I recently missed the Amazon prime day for June, but is there a strong guess on what the next one will be? Given I have a kindle already I think I’d want to wait for a discount to come along.

I also noticed the Kindle Basic hasn’t had an update for a couple years - is that on the horizon soon?
