AAV issue

Slow draining kitchen sink 2007 house cleaned out the trap. snaked the 2 inch pipe 50 feet to the main line when the AAV is off drains perfectly fine replace the AAV and it will not drain well. take the new AAV off drains just fine. Please tell me what I am missing. Should I snake the AAV pipe?
