should i buy 2016 vw jetta or a 2019 chevy cruze

hi, i’m looking for a new car; this wouldn’t be my first car so i’m looking for something a little more reliable and the 2016 vw jetta and the 2019 chevy cruze.

the vw is 127km and lowest asking price is $8k
the cruze is $13000 with 42km

i just dont know a whole lot about either of these brands and want a car that looks well appointed but also will last me (hopefully) 10 years

for context i currently have a 2011 hyundai elantra with 214km on it with no working ac so 😛 help in appreciated
