"Just play Forb bro" is not a solution to Lockdown's problems

And I'm tired of pretending it is.

It's annoying to hear "Just play forb man" anytime anyone criticizes the state of Lockdown or how the AK-12 is simultaneously the most boring gun and the best gun to use for LD.

The O3 heavy being the only T5 helmet with a face mask and headset being 100K more than a Matzka limits SO many options. The tradeoff between the two is you can die in one shot to a T5 bullet to the mask, whereas the Matzka you can tank one.

So why is the price so different? Rather more importantly, why is the EQUIP VALUE so different. The price of the items hardly matters, everyone has so much money anyways. The tradeoff exists gameplay-wise, so why is it so much more restricting to want a headset?

Shifting the discussion to cheaters, the vast majority of cheaters that get banned (and ones that don't) are playing Forbidden. I run into startlingly few cheaters playing Lockdown and even when I do it's almost always on TV Station before they're level 30.

Playing Forbidden is a miserable experience as a solo player. Even if there were no cheaters in Forb it still wouldn't be fun. The meta is absurdly annoying with everyone jumping corners in Full T6.

It doesn't matter how good you are at the game, if 2+ people push you at the same time, you physically cannot kill 2 people at once.

"Just play forb bro" or simply saying "skill issue" is not productive or constructive.

We all want this game to do better; we put time into it because we like it, don't we?
