scared of lymphoma

no history or family history of lymphoma

as the title suggests, I am afraid I have lymphoma. I just wanted to get my fear out there.

in May, I found a painful lump the size of a coin behind my ear. 2 days later, I went to the doctors who assumed a skin infection (as I had a spot nearby the lump) & no other symptoms. after 5 days of antibiotics, the pain went away and it shrunk slightly, but never fully disappeared. (I felt fine).

in July (presently) I had an incredibly painful spot/cyst inside my ear. I also found a pea sized painful lump underneath the one from May. I sent pictures to my doctor who didn’t even see me in person, just prescribed antibiotics for 5 days. I took them and the spot/cyst went away along with the pea sized lump.

recently I’ve felt off. maybe for around 2 weeks. tired. I hurt a bit. kind of runny nose. just feeling off, but not a full blown cold or anything alike. I also had a couple rare instances in may / june where I woke up having a coughing fit but shrugged it off due to my fan or dry air or something…

I’ve had no hot flashes, as I know that can be a primary symptom of lymphoma.

anyways, lymphoma has ALWAYS been a incredible fear of mine. I have been in CBT specifically for health anxiety, but with these new symptoms it’s been more of a struggle.

I’d really be grateful if someone could respond and hear me out. It’s been a difficult couple months and this fear is eating me alive, especially as sometimes I become so convinced and can’t see any other possibility.
