Planning on picking up a 5.1 setup and wondering if it will all work

I am looking to setup a 5.1 setup with the Yamaha Rx-V781 with the paradigm cinema 90 ct 5 speaker 1 sub bundle

The problem is I am connecting it to my series X as it has a 4k blu ray player and my monitor doesn’t have an ARC or EARC port

Im wondering if I can use an hdmi audio extractor to take the 5.1 uncompressed audio from the Xbox and extract it from that to the reciever? I’m currently looking at the Orei (BK-927) 2.1 audio extractor, does anyone have any experience with anything similar I would love to know before buying it
