Best ebike for speed and range?

I recently got the cycrown dremax commuter ebike. It’s was advertised as being able to hit top speed throttle only of 45kmph and it can do this fine, the problem is it said it had a range of 96km but it’s actual range is barely 40km. Now ik using throttle only lowers range but the pedal assist on this bike is not good, even on the lowest setting one pedal gives electricity as if you’re on the highest setting and you basically go to 20kmph right away and by a few pedals you’re at top speed making it unusable for going slow or steady.

I am looking for any recommendations on e-bikes that can go around that speed but with a good range too, and better pedal assist accuracy so i’m not just going from 0 to 20kmph with one pedal on lowest mode. Preferably around $2k or less.
