Too much too fast?

Hello All.

When I first came out to my wife she was very supportive and we talked for ages about it. She is Bi and we are both quite separate from our families so no real waves yet. My but is on a long wait list for HRT. However I started shaving and getting into shape and really caring for my self. Got some... ok clothes from a thrift store and when she saw me in them it was as if something flipped. I've tried talking to her about it and she dismissed me saying "I wasn't sure you were this serious."

Anybody have a strong ally change opinion when things really start happening?
