My daughter and I share a Lovecraft reference

So, the first time I ever read HP Lovecraft's, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, I read the part where they said that rituals were held on October 31st and April 30th of every year. I flipped out because my birthday is April 30th and my daughter's birthday is October 31st. I just thought that was so interesting. They are the two most famous "witching nights" in European folk tradition: May Eve (Walpurgisnacht) and All Hallows' Eve (Halloween / Samhain). And our ancestry is very European.
