Switching from Steam client to NetEase

Hello everyone,

after having a few sadly stuttering cinematics which very much ruined the storytelling of a few narratively intense moments, I tried looking for possible solution for this "stuttering" (lag, freeze, audio disappearing - everything strictly only during cinematics) and among the possible solution I found, was changing from the steam client (which I'm currently using) to the apparently better optimized native NetEase client.

Problem is that while trying to understanding how to do that, I found several, sometimes outdated and even conflicting informations on how to do that and no clear guide, so I thought coming here and asking was the best thing to do.

So, here I am: how do I switch from my Steam client to a NetEase client (without, of course, having to delete my character which is not an option)?
