Restraining orders- location: Texas

My boyfriend has 2 children with his ex wife. The relationship between them is not cordial. She has made various threats about how she intends to make his life difficult. One of those threats was that she is going to file a restraining order against me on behalf of herself and probably the kids (implied).

I have not spoken to, been in the same room with, harassed, texted, called, threatened or otherwise interacted with this woman in any way. I live hours away from her as well. I have not even met the children yet, so we do not interact at those events.

How concerned should I be about this? I have a job that runs yearly background checks. How likely is it that she will be granted a restraining order with no real proof of anything other than she “feels” threatened by my very existence?

If I do get served with some sort of paper work for this, what is the general process? I’m assuming I will need an attorney. What ktype should I look for?
