Tips for a romantic birthday date

My girlfriend and I will stay a few days in Oaxaca between the 7 to 11 of August. She has her birthday on Sunday the 9th and I would like to reserve a romantic restaurant for the two of us. I’m thinking of typical Oaxacan/Mexican or Mexican/Thai fusion if it exists. Maybe with wine pairing too. Do you guys have any tips for me?
