I created this sub as someone seeking a place where we could connect and discuss in a more small knit community setting. I was, at the time, personally seeking connection within the fandom and wanted a group of people who felt the same. I wanted a place that wasn’t heavily policed where people could speak freely and openly and about whatever they wanted.

I remember getting the first hundred people in here and thinking wow there’s people just like me out there and today, our little community has reached 1.5k of us!! Even though it’s growing, it still has that small town community feel and I want to thank every single one of you for creating this space and turning it into what it is. I personally see every single post and engage where I can. I just LOVE having you all here.

Now I’ve been thinking of ways to get to know some of you a little better but as someone who is a full time heavy diesel mechanic and studying a bachelor in psychology I struggle to find time and energy to put into anything too consistently (I saw someone started a book club and I really wanted to join but couldn’t give my time to it unfortunately)

So as a little celebration of our ever growing community I’ve been thinking of creating a Dramione reading circle of about 8-12 members.

I was thinking;

\- A reddit group chat or discord (whichever one most people feel more comfortable on)

\- One fic per month chosen through a group vote

\- Read at your own pace throughout the month

\- Make notes of anything you’d like to discuss as you read ( favourite scenes, theories, quotes and questions )

\- Members are welcome to chat as they go but avoid major spoilers until everyone has finished or until the end of the month discussion

\- once everyone has finished or at the end of the month we’ll have one big spoiler filled discussion and analyse the fic together

I know there’s been some book clubs created already but I’m trying to create something for the busy bees like me who don’t have the time to keep with deadlines and just have a group of friends to chat with as we go

Let me know if anyone would be interested.

Thankyou to our beautiful community and I look forward to connecting with you all more and more 💕
