Urgently looking for a place with a cat and poor credit. Month-to-Month okay!

Hi! My credit is 550 after leaving a bad marriage (in another state). I (30s, female) am re-establishing myself and business in Chicago. I am self-employed in a traditional, public-facing business.

I am currently staying in a hotel just outside of Chicago proper and that's been getting really expensive time-wise and money-wise. I'd love a landing place while I rebuild both my credit and my business. Budget up to $2,000. Not picky about shared space or entire apartment/house, I just would really prefer my own bathroom. Can do a fixed lease or month-to-month.

Cat is calm, clean and doesn't scratch or pee. Her litter is automated.

I am calmer and even cleaner than the cat. I've been checking everywhere (facebook, zillow, domu, etc) and so I'm here, hoping against hope. Please let me know if anything is available! Thank you
