Nobody told me updating my Bios would feel like disarming a bomb

I was updating my ASUS PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI)
and I was begging for the electricity not to go out on me and when I got a black screen for 20 minutes I thought all hope was lost. Turned it off and on and My Bios booted holy hell I am still nervous
