My Dad and His Girlfriend

I’ve been a long time lurker, recent poster to this sub. About half way into being 21 and I’ve been drinking since I was 18. Used to work at KFC which had many boozers there which is how I scored my drinks and liquor. Anyway this post is half about me, half about my dad and his gf. My dad and his gf are newly sober (2 years) after being some of the most horrendous drunks of all time: passing out in the hallway when I was 13-14 years old, pissing in the hamper and ruining everyone’s clothes, and drunk driving/almost hitting mailboxes and ditches more times than I can count…I’ve started drinking heavy over the last two years living in the camper in their backyard. $380 a month with me working full time gives me more than enough extra money for drinks, weed, nicotine, and food.
Because I’m a respectful alcoholic and know how scared their drinking made me as a kid, I drink solely in the camper at the end of the day, usually after work and as a result every time I come in the house smelling like rum and coke after a day off they give me endless shit, have told distant relatives as well as me that I have a drinking problem, and constantly demand me to quit drinking my first year of legally being able to buy it myself. Basically now I’m buying two beatboxes for every day in a week and crushing them up so they fit in the trash, because I don’t wanna hear THAT FUCKING BULLSHIT FROM EX CA’S MY FIRST YEAR OF DRINKING LEGALLY!!!
