should i get a new laptop or keep my macbook?

Hello everyone! I've seen a lot of people say that macbooks aren't good laptops for accounting students. I'm applying to college this year to study accounting so I don't really know about these things.. I'm not sure if I should thug it out with my current macbook or if I should get a new laptop. Also any suggestions for a new laptop would be amazing. Thank you!!!
