(27/m/UK) just had my back lower left molar extracted, it was a complicated extraction and wondering how plausible an implant is

As mentioned in the title I had my molar extracted after a failed root canal treatment was done 2 years ago and seems to have split my tooth and caused an abscess.

It was, and I quote, the hardest extract my dentist has ever done and involved shaving bone around the socket to try and get the roots out.

Because this was seemingly complex I'm wondering about how good a candidate I am for a dental implant and if it would be worth it generally
