Copywriting help needed urgently. Any feedback welcome

Hi all,
Im currently a graphic design student and really struggle with copywriting. Im doing a personal project about animal adoption and wanted the copywriting to relate to the fact that most people see their animals as family. I have called it Kin but all the copywriting I have tried feels corny and I feel like it doesnt work. If anyone has any suggestions on this including how to get better it would be much appreciated. Thanks
