engine question

hi there! i have what may be a silly question. not the most knowledgeable about cars, but my jeep is about to crap out on me and i'm heavily considering an element for my next one (to hopefully have for a long time). i've narrowed it down to an ex or an exp but i'm leaning toward the exp because i really like the colored panels on the interior. i know that may be a silly reason but my current ride isn't my aesthetic at all, and if i'm making a big investment like this i wanna really love it, y'know?

my question is: i see that the exp has a 4-speed automatic engine whereas the newer models have a 5-speed. is that something i need to worry about? other than the occasional road trip most of my driving is local, just to and from work and running errands and stuff.
