Is $120k still a good salary for a single person in this area?

I feel privileged to be making this money just a few short years into my “professional” career. A combination of networking and luck brought me to this point, especially as a “non-technical” person who is not a software engineer or coder.

I did a masters (non-MBA) and have worked hard, so it’s not for nothing.

I’m just wondering. Is $120k gross still a decent/good salary for someone living in NOVA with rents, etc. who is also hoping to save as much money as possible still?
