I’m in my 20s and big on saving money but I never invest; where should I start?

I always thought that just by saving money I’d save myself from financial ruin, but I just recently grasped the concept of inflation and how the money I save will lose its value over time because it’s not making me anything by sitting in a savings account. What should I do?
