I can't play Quickmatch casually anymore

For reference, I usually play with a duo but lately I've been playing QM solo when I have some free time. Nearly 50% of my games I feel like everyone has been so toxic on my own team, reaming people out to swap (myself included) if you're even slightly underperforming.

I feel like I can't learn new characters or even just play casually anymore. everyone acts like their life is on the line in QM and no matter how respectfully you recieve their "advice" it always turns into an arguement or blame game. No matter what you do it seems everyone has a bone to pick, and I know the obvious answer is to just turn of VC or text chat but that feels impractical for comms...

Am I just soft or is the player base really jsut this intense for no reason?
