Should I choose Constructor University for an MS after not getting into German public universities?

Masters

Hi everyone,

I'm an international student from India, and I'd really appreciate some honest advice from people who have studied in Germany or know about Constructor University.

I initially applied for Winter 2026 intake to several German public universities for Master's programs in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the results I was hoping for, mainly because my academic profile isn't very competitive for many public universities.

Here's my profile:

Country: India

Bachelor's: B.Tech in Computer Science & Information Technology

German GPA: 2.59

Indian GPA: 7.34

IELTS: 7.0

German level: A1 (currently learning)

Completed internships and a few AI/Full Stack projects.

At this point, I'm seriously considering Constructor University as my next option. I know it's a private university, and I've seen mixed opinions online, so I'd like to hear from people with first-hand experience or those familiar with it.

I have a few questions:

Is Constructor University a good choice for Computer Science/AI-related master's programs?

How is its reputation among employers in Germany?

How are the professors, curriculum, and research opportunities?

How difficult is it to find internships and full-time jobs after graduating?

Are there any major drawbacks or things I should know before accepting an offer?

If you were in my position, would you choose Constructor University or wait another semester and try applying to public universities again?

I'm looking for honest opinions—both positive and negative. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!
