How long until you consider a video a flop?

Hey guys, I’m a Youtuber with over 50k subs. I’ve had a few long form videos pass 100k views and usually, I can tell if a video is gonna do great or fail within the first 24 hours.

I have had some videos randomly get more views months later, but usually, if they aren’t an outlier in the first 24 hours, they’re not gonna pass 20k views.

My latest video has a highly searchable evergreen topic, i follow the title and thumbnail strategy tjat has worked for me in the past… and nothing. 10 out of 10 ranking. It’s been 5 days, ive changed the thumbnail, title, still underperforming.

I usually wouldn’t mind and just take it as a learning experience but I have a sponsor on this video so it’s making me nervous that they may not work with me again because of it.

Anyway, have you gone through something similar? How long do you wait until you give up on a video? Thank you.
