Anyone use a steam deck to play?

Considering getting a steam deck, I love this game and want to play when I travel but bringing my laptop along, let alone using it in certain spaces isn’t always convenient.

Does anyone play on steam deck? what device do you have? and do I need any special adaptions, like a controller and stuff or is it easy enough to play on the device itself?
