AITA for stopping my fiance from telling this story about his dead cat?

my fiance started telling a really disgusting story about his cat after letting me know that the lamp in our corner was still covered in his dead cats boogers. and i was like oh.

then he starts explaining how his cat used to have strings of snot and sneeze all over the place and i’d hate it and i tried stopping him twice and he told me he misses him so much at the end.

was i in the wrong to tell him to stop. he knows i hate stories like that and am germophobic but he was talking about his dead cat so idk. it’s just like you could tell any other story about your dead cat.

im literally gagging writing this story pit it’s so disgusting but he knows i hate stories like this and i know he misses his cat so much but dude
