Is this limbo

Since five days ago my pinterest homepage has been... normified, as I saw someone else describe it. I've been checking maybe twice a day to see if it got fixed, but I guess not? I don't know if people are still having the same issue or if it's just me at this point.

My homepage is just filled with coffee, yoga, dietary stuff, Italy aesthetics and frankly shitty arts and crafts. Though this is the third time in the last few days that the homepage *did* change, it just didn't change back to things that were at least relevant to me.

Once I clicked on the "see less" button on every single pin on my feed for 7 minutes - and after refreshing in the hope of fixing it myself, they all just came back. Scrolling down I saw that those exact same pins just repeated themselves in the same sequence as well! Refreshing in general doesn't help either.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this has to do with the ad permissions; at the "refine your recommendations" tab, under activity, I only see the pins that I interacted with before my homepage got nuked. Above that there's this button to update a setting to "add more personalization", which just redirects me to the privacy and data page. I have all of these options turned off plus I hate AI. I can't even switch on any of my own boards for recommendations, all of them have been switched off automatically.

Just checking to see if I'm not the only one still stuck in purgatory.
