STC vs OTC Radiography Program - Which path would you choose?

I’m looking for some advice from people who have been through radiography school or work in the field.
I’m in Georgia and have narrowed it down to two nearby programs:

Option 1: Ogeechee Technical College (OTC)
Program starts each Spring.
Applications are due in August each year.
I’d need to push through my prerequisites a little faster to have a chance at applying for the next application cycle.

Option 2: Southeastern Technical College (STC)
Program starts each Summer.
Applications are due in March each year.
This would give me more time to complete my prerequisites without rushing.

A little background:
I’m currently in an EMT program, but my long-term goal is becoming an ARRT-registered radiologic technologist.

I still have several prerequisites left (A&P I & II, English, Psychology, ALHS, etc.), so realistically I won’t be starting either radiography program until 2028. The question is more about which application timeline I should aim for.
Both programs only accept one cohort per year.

My dilemma is:
Should I try to knock out my prerequisites as quickly as possible and apply to OTC for the earlier Spring start?
Or should I take a little more time, complete everything at a comfortable pace, and apply to STC’s Summer program instead?

For those of you who have gone through radiography school, would you prioritize getting into a program as soon as possible, or would you take the extra time if it meant less stress and potentially stronger grades on your prerequisites?

If anyone has experience with either STC or OTC, I’d also love to hear your thoughts on the programs themselves.

Thanks in advance!
