Accurate VS. Unforgiving

I've heard that unforgiving actually feels easier than accurate, but why is that? Is that actually accurate or are people conflating how easy/hard unforgiving is? I'm interested in playing at a higher difficulty, but on accurate I have had such bad luck, and it's interesting to me that others say that unforgiving is "easier than accurate" when it's above accurate and accurate is hard as heck!
