SSL Strategy against stronger opponents

Hey! So my alliance has made it to the quarter finals, Ive come up with pretty solid strategies to beat our opponents but we are now going against someone who's SS power is double or triple depending on the amount of players they are able to field. Is there any strategies out there anyone has seen that can bridge this gap. Or is the gap too wide to overcome? I have some ideas myself but would like to see others opinions
