Does harmless trash talk get you permanently muted on cs2?

Been playing for about a month for the first time since CS1.6/CSS days ~20 yrs ago (damn I'm old).

Havent said anything vile - no racism, no homophobia, no misogyny etc.

Just the classic "ez", "sit n00b", "take notes in spec", "get good sh*tter" etc.

Yet I've been hit with a mute. A week later and its still there, and the mute message at the start of every game doesn't indicate in any way that this is temporary.

Wtf is this? Can't enjoy the game anymore after 20-30 mins without the ability to trash talk.
