Would you use a simpler alternative to Canny for collecting feature requests?
I’m building a lightweight SaaS called Roadly for small teams and indie developers who want to collect feedback, let users vote on feature requests, and share a public roadmap.
The idea is to keep it simpler and more affordable than tools like Canny or Productboard.
The basic workflow would be:
- Customers submit feature requests
- Other users can vote and comment
- The team updates each request’s status
- Users can view a public product roadmap
- Customers are notified when something they requested is released
I’m still developing it, so I’m trying to understand whether this solves a real problem.
Do you currently use a feature-request or roadmap tool? What do you dislike about it, and what would make you consider switchin
