Is everything really that bad in your 40s?
My wife is 41, I am younger (two mom family). Everything seems to be 10x worse for her simply bc she’s “old” (we all know she isn’t old). For some examples if we all get sick she’s laid on napping on and off all day can’t get up and I’m up taking care of loud toddler and taking care of the house as well as medicating her and catering to her.
If I work all day (on my feet manual labor job) and I’m sore I pop some Tylenol and put on the heating pad and I do my best to play with my toddler and take care of house chores ect while my wife works all day (desk job) and she’s so tired and her back hurts so bad she has to lay down all evening with a heat pad and Tylenol and ibuprofen and she’s still acting like she’s dying and can’t do anything for our toddler or herself.
Currently my wife is constipated and she’s laying in bed all day saying her whole body hurts and she feels sick and she can’t do anything and she can’t take care of our toddler snd she can’t even sit on the couch with us because it hurts too bad. Meanwhile I was constipated last week and I just put a heat pad on my stomach for the pain and took care of our toddler snd the house.
So is your 40s really that bad? Is everything just 10x worse for yall? Or is it just a her thing?
