New update for add a product wont allow parent asin.

Ive several items on amazon in the past several months all having parent asin.

Each time I start off with creating the parent asin first and then adding in variations at the end.

Amazon just updated the add a product page (blank form) and now it's not allowing me to move on from the first page without entering a upc for the product. The first product I always do is the parent product. So I don't want to create the first product as one variation, and then having that variation identified in every other variation.

Anybody know how to bypass this, or what's the best way to go about this is???
