Side effects from surgery

I’m about 2 months post op. Before the procedure I felt so miserable and was in a hurry to get this situation addressed. I was recommended my surgeon/specialist from my obgyn in the same department. I kind of regret I did that. The surgeon never shared any of the detailed information I see on here often. Comparing the size of the fibroids to months in pregnancy, going over the detailed mri. I always had to initiate the feedback more so and check to see if they got the images. After surgery I developed a very bad itch & hives. I’am still going through this but not as painful but very present and noticeable. When I reached out to their office they told me to contact my pc doctor. They were very dismissive. Also when I did the post op and mentioned the allergic reaction. The doctor said it was a very rare occurrence of having side effects and that’s why she didn’t go over the possibility of an allergic reaction happening. I’m still dealing with it. I wish I would have chosen a surgeon with better bedside manners and more insightful . I was tested for allergies and it came back negative. I don’t know what to do.
