about salary increasing after a promotion

after 3 years in the Championship, i finally managed to get the PL promotion with Stoke. the first year was all about surviving and the sale of players earning over €100k per month. after that, we started to become one of the best teams in the league, with a clear salary rule: no one would earn more than 70k/m.

we didn't get promoted in the second season, but we did in the third one — all while the team's highest salary was 67k/m. now that we're preparing for our PL debut, i need to build the squad, and obviously, many key players are demanding over 100k/m to renew their contracts.

what would y'all do in this situation? what range should the salary cap be set at? our finances are excellent (+40 million), so money isn't an issue, but i need to be spot-on with renewals and signings.
