So what happened with Doctor Glass?

Sorry if this doesn’t fit here

I haven’t been super active in SCP fan communities in a few years, but have author inserts, especially Doctor Glass come back a lot? Before most people didn’t seem to really know many author inserts, aside from Clef, Gears and Maybe Kondraki.

Dr Glass had been a favourite of mine, maybe just because I really enjoy the routine psychological evaluations article, but suddenly it seems like he’s been promoted to the same tier as Gears and Clef.

Other author inserts characters too, like Kain Pathos Crow, Diogenes, Rights (all who I also really enjoy) seem considerably more well known too, a lot of who I have no memory of.

I can’t find anything online and there aren’t any new articles involving them to make them popular. Did author inserts come roaring back, and when did Doctor Glass become a twink?
