Updated After 8 Months

Y’all, I just really need to celebrate this moment. 🎉

I finally updated my fic for the first time in almost 8 months. After crippling writer’s block, several illnesses, and a more demanding work schedule than usual (I work in emergency management and have been plagued with back to back to back incidents since late May), I finally got the next chapter in my long fic up. 😭

I have felt awful for leaving my readers hanging for so long, it just feels so good to get this next chapter posted. (And it was a long one). The icing on the cake was that I posted it after a 13 hour work shift while laying in my hotel room because I’m still working an ongoing incident but, by golly, I wasn’t going to let it keep stopping me.
