7-day suspension from TikTok livestreaming for an apparent “sexual activity” even though there was nothing happening. Does this sound crazy??
Hello, everyone! My name is Ejay. Nice meeting you!
So I want to share with y’all a story of something that happened to me last month.
First off, I am a live-streamer on TikTok, as well as a content creator specializing in song/dance covers, to which you’re welcome to check out on my profile.
Anyway, going straight to the point, I’ve been livestreaming since 2024, though I took a break for most of 2025 until close to the end of that year, and on one of my livestreams last month, I was talking with friends like usual, then I decided to give both of my legs a stretch to rest them after a day of going out. In the middle of my stream, TikTok somehow ended it abruptly, claiming there was “sexual activity” even though there was NOTHING SEXUAL going on! I tried to appeal it but was rejected, and unfortunately I was suspended for 7 days (to resume on June 18 at 10:59pm)…
I was super upset at what had happened, and when I was able to livestream again, I decided not to do so for the next few days because I was mad at TikTok for flagging my last livestream as inappropriate. To this very moment, I still feel they were wrong but what can we do, right? What’s done is done.
Also, when I resumed my livestreaming the day of (June 18), I got another violation in less than a few minutes. I’m telling you, man, idk why TikTok has beef with me 😂🤦🏻♂️
Now, I’m not trying to gain sympathy from the online world or anything, I am simply venting about what I went through last month. But damn, doesn’t that sound crazy???
