How Do I Get Rid of the Random Black Fade??

Recently this obnoxious black fade effect has started appearing on every single video. It plays at completely random times with no pattern and is super annoying. It's like a capcut effect that plays between clips but it happens at random points in a video, usually not even between teo seperate clips. Is this some new feature youtube added that is annoying for no reason? Does anyone know how to disable it?
