Best covering for timber floors.

Hi,

I recently bought an investment property that was built in the 40s and has old timber floors s throughout. I want to modernise and rid of the old look.

Can I quickly cover these boards up with something cheap? I was thinking of just something I can glue down like a laminate or floating floor that will match the modern black/white and grey look I am redoing the place in to flip it.
