Has anyone ever created a new account? How do I start over?

I was young and dumb when I initially created my first Reddit account and quite literally made it my first and last name which are super niche and identifiable. Not that I’m afraid of my posts, but it is a little awkward. I finally decided to bite the bullet and make a new account… but now I’m here with no karma and basically not able to post, comment or do much. I’m not a huge Reddit user to begin with… but wanted to post and ask has anyone else dealt with this and if so, what did you do when you started over?
