**The Stalker - “Fresh Meat” - Cost: £1800**

An experiment gone wrong that has since broken out of its captivity. The Stalker is the apex predator that the UNIT-8 faction has been trying to kill for a long time now, but its relentlessness knows no bounds. The Stalker prefers to strike when its prey is unknowing of its presence, it uses its camouflage to blend into its environment perfectly and excels in confusing its victims.

Right Behind You
“Behind You” - The Stalker

The Stalker can inflict a unique status effect called “Known”. This status effect is hidden to any survivors inflicted.
Known prevents survivors from hearing The Stalkers terror radius, and permanently highlights the survivor to The Stalker.
Survivors inflicted with Known are also unable to be highlighted by survivor abilities.
For every survivor inflicted with Known, the timer decreases by 0.5%
Known can only be lifted if you get hit by The Stalker, you get a teammate to calm you down or you stun The Stalker.

Camouflage
“I’m here” - The Stalker

The further The Stalker is from a survivor, the more transparent he will be on their screen.
If The Stalker is more than 70 studs away then they will be completely invisible.
This range decreases to 20 studs if the survivor viewing The Stalker is inflicted with Known.

***Abilities***

Batter - M1
“NEED ASSISTANCE!” - Injured Combine Soldier
Cooldown: 1 Second

The Stalker hits a survivor with his arm, dealing 25 damage
This damage is increased to 40 damage against survivors inflicted with Known.
Decreases Rage cooldown by 1 second

Wall Grip - M2
“COVER!” - Alert Combine Soldier
Cooldown: 5 Seconds

When up against a wall, The Stalker can use this ability to climb up it.
The Stalker can then use his M1 to leap off of the wall, dealing M1 damage, as well as being able to hit multiple targets.
The Stalker can also press M2 to quietly drop off of the wall.
The Stalker is also not forced to drop off a wall, if he reaches an edge then he can grab onto the ledge, allowing him to take shortcuts and unsuspecting routes.

Ability 1 - Silent Warp
“Where did he go?” - Unsuspecting Combine Soldier
Cooldown: 10 Seconds

If The Stalker is out of view, he can use this ability
When used, The Stalker becomes entirely invisible and is sped up significantly.
While in this state, The Stalker cannot use any other abilities.
The Stalker can select this ability again to exit out of it, in which he will gain a speed boost for 2 seconds. He can only do this if he is out of sight to every survivor.

Ability 1 - I See You
“Look Up” - The Stalker
Cooldown: 1 Second

This ability can only be used when The Stalker is on a wall, and replaces Silent Warp.
When used, The Stalker will shift into a first person view and will inflict any survivor in his crosshair with Known.
The Stalker can use this ability again to cancel it.

Ability 2 - Paralysis
“What’s The Matter? Scared?” - The Stalker
Cooldown: 30 Seconds

The Stalker unleashes a cloud of gas, creating a large area of effect.
If a survivor steps into this cloud, they will have their health drain at a rate of 2 HP per second, as well as being inflicted with Known. Drain lingers for 2 seconds.
This cloud cannot kill survivors, and only one can be active at a time.
If The Stalker is in this cloud, he is given a speed 2, which lingers for 2 seconds after leaving.

Ability 3 - Decoy
“That’s not him?!” - A Mix Between An Annoyed and Horrified For Their Life Combine
Cooldown: 14 Seconds

The Stalker summons a clone of himself which sprints forward in the direction he was going.
This decoy takes the form of The Stalker, however it's noticeably more transparent.
When used, The Stalker becomes invisible.
If The Stalker uses one of his abilities, or after 10 seconds, the decoy is killed and The Stalker loses his invisibility.
