Childbirth: what type and how long was your recovery

I am a FTM and I am starting to read more about the birth. I love my baby most in the world and would suffer and endure anything in the world, but would still like to know what to expect. I am also an older FTM so a bit worried.

I d appreciate if you would share which childbirth method you experienced and how long was your physical recovery (after C section or tearing). I know mentally it differs widely but would love to hear about the body recovery
