Humidor for drying and curing?

Friend upgraded his humidor and had his old one for sale. It has the ability to adjust temperature and humidity to get the 60/60 rule. Shelves are removable too.

Is anyone else trying this or doing it successfully. Looks a lot like a Vcure but different interior.
