What are your opinions about an mod (or an update) that adds natural disasters?

Something like tornadoes, thunderstorms, earthquakes, floods, etc. Personally, I would find it awesome, but I know it would be very difficult to implement in the game and adjust it so that it wouldn't be completely destructive
